Iowa | A 2730 does a nice job, however, I don't have a ton of acres on mine and the disc hub bearings started going out. Well that hub bearing is 365$ and if you want to be able to change them in the field because you don't have a damn hydraulic press in the tractor with you you need to buy another piece that is 165$. So at roughly 500$ a disc it gets expensive in a hurry. But yeah you can bury the disc, I wouldn't even say I run it very deep and was very surprised how soon they went out vs my 2700. No you can't get much pressure on a 2700 disc vs a 2730 but it's been over way more acres | |
