Subject: Our 1969 145

North End I-15
was priced with out a cab . Dad had a brochure showing one with just a rail around the operators platform. Wasn't till 73 I belive that Versatile built their own cabs. We ran 2 145's for a total of 8000 hours. Good rigs with no transmission or driveline problems. Poor single stage air cleaners were the main problem . When I came home to farm Dad and I bought a 145 to farm our separate farms with . He had a 1030 case and Uncle had a 1206 IHC . I leased the Uncles farm wand we did all the field work with the one 145. Good tractors with a 470 Cummins V-8 Good dependable long lifed tractors. Never had a problem with drive lines , axels , u joints . Fuel efficient , and easy on rubber.
