| I put a set in a NH 565 small square baler this spring which is used to bale alfalfa, grass, and straw. I think the banana bales are reduced a bit and maybe the bale length is a bit more consistent. This helps when using an automatic bale wagon. I can't say density changed much. I was concerned about not being able to make light enough hay bales for women to handle but I can still make 50 pound hay bales with the same spring tension. I wanted heavier straw bales but the heaviest I could make were 40 pounds before the knot would pull out. I suppose I could have tweaked with the knotter but it was easier to loosen the bale up a bit and keep baling. Satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back. I'm satisfied enough not to take them out and send them back but I probably wouldn't do it again in another baler. | |
