But wouldn't the 4955 be a better match with the 7140 (like your neighbor). The 4755 is a fine tractor, but it wouldn't be in the 200hp club like the 4955/7140. One thing about the 7140 is that the exhaust is moved to the side whereas you would have to get a 60 series JD to have that feature. Also, the 7140 cab is a little bigger/newer and has a full PS 18 spd transmission. In our area until the 8000 series came out it seemed like everyone had either a 4955/60 or a 7140 - very popular and not many problems with either.
