| I'm having trouble searching for used grain pup trailers that are not 20' long - I'm looking for something like a 300 bushel side or centerdump wagon box on a trailer type running gear (dual 16" or larger wheels with a fixed tongue). I've seen lots of them around in the past, but they seem to have gone away as semi's have become more popular (so I hope they can be bought reasonable).
My other choice is to take a dmi wagon I have that took an off road/upside down excursion last year that pretty much wadded up the front axle. I've been considering turning it into a pup by making a subframe and attaching a couple of axles and running dual 16" tires all around - it's not free though and the axles are at least $1200 and the wheels are $40/each + steel for the tongue + time and all the stuff I'm forgetting (at least $2000 + misc). I'm thinking a pup that is ready to go may not cost much more.
