One other thing is that your going forward 99% of the time,and the normal automatic reaction when things go wrong is to rip the hydro handle BACK to neutral. If your already moving in reverse and you instinctively jerk back on the handle, you go full speed in reverse. Stuff happens :(


Exactly. I can personally attest to that... just today I was hooking up the TV145 (Bidirectional) to our bale processor after the front axle broke on the 7710... I was waiting to put the pin in, and my mom was backing up to it. She got up to inches of it, then panicked or something, and jerked it back to neutral. Only problem, she was already past neutral, and it came back full speed. I just barely made my escape from in between tractor and implement, but it certainly set me off in a bad mood.
