If so, how well does that work?

Seems to me to be logical.......kill a lot of yanking and snapping.............maybe get a light old wrecker and cut the cab off...........

Fresh on my mind since I caught Heckel and his brother Jeckel using the backhoe extend-a-hoe arm to inch out a stuck truck the other day. (Result------250.00 of broken cab glass when the backhoe slid........)
