Southeast Colorado | This has been an interesting discussion. I've heard of this before but never knew how the pricing formula worked. At first I thought it sounded a little pricey but after further thought I also realize that the only people I know who utilize this service are big operators. Not that I have anything against them but if you are a large enough operator that doesn't have the time to calve your own heifers than you are probably going to pay a little more for professional services. I don't imagine any small rancher is going to pay someone to calve their heifers. Just my 2 cents! | |
