northeastern Ohio | I am not sure if it is the same model, but I just replaced the belt on our Maytag gas dryer. Take two screws out of the lower part of the front panel and remove the front. Take two screws out of the thing that holds the drum in place and remove the thing (sorry I don't know what to call it). Pull the drum out a little bit and put the new belt on the drum. Slide the drum back in. Reach under and put the belt on the pulley and idler. The bag that the new belt comes in usually has a diagram for proper routing of the belt. Hope this helps. | |
