I copied this from the area paper. I know this guys 40something son, haven't talked to him yet. Story I heard is he was going to their second farm to do chores.
SHAWANO, Wis. (AP) -- A man riding an all-terrain vehicle on a rural road lost his hat and was doing a U-turn when he went into the path of a truck and was killed, authorities said.
Raymond Drews, 74, of Shawano, had an agricultural license for the ATV, allowing him to operate it legally on the roadway, the Shawano County Sheriff's Department said.
The sheriff's department said an investigation showed Drews was driving on Belle Plaine Avenue in the town of Belle Plaine when the hat was lost and he made the U-turn.
The accident was reported at 1:11 p.m. Tuesday.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
