SW Ontario | I am just curious as to what different farmers are getting with their combines in wheat.
The only full day this year we had (rain...rain...rain), we did 110 acres that yielded 111 dry bushels in 10 hours, all delivered over a scale. This equates to an average of 1200bu/hr. The monitor was saying 12-1700 bu/hr in this period but of course is only an instantaneous average and does not account for headlands etc. In a 4 hour afternoon we were able to do 5400 bushels in 120 bu/acre wheat.
These numbers are from an 06 9760STS.
What are others getting?
