I had a neighbor who had a bobcat that son was always using on his farm or his son in law would borrow. All 3 place are within 3 miles of each other. Eventually he ended up with 3 skidsteers, it was the only way he could keep one in the yard.

Had this happen years ago with tractors and loaders. I had one FIL had one BIL didn't have one FIL got tired of son always taking tractor and loader when FIL wasn't around he come home want to feed cattle or haul hay and tractor gone so he would come take mind because I was closer and it set in a lean to so easy to get to. Then I would come home from working 12 hours over night want to feed cattle or haul hay tractor would be gone. FIL finally bought a low hour 4440 and I found a nice loader for him and I put the package together and he gave the high hour 4030 with loader to his son. I guess son was the smart one he got a tractor with loader for free just by borrowing all the time.
