SW Wisconsin | I have a burn pile for mine. I called Darling a couple times, and told them if they wanted an animal I had one, but I wasn’t paying them to haul away an animal that I’d just finished sinking hundreds if not thousands of dollars into. It’s about the same in my mind as saying “what’s that? You just broke your leg? Let me slap you in the face.” I’m right off the highway, it’s not like it would actually cost them to come down the driveway when they’re going by anyway, but they didn’t come. Their plant is right across the road from my church, I’ve toyed with the idea of dumping carcasses on their driveway, but I don’t think I will. Could also go to an open section of road and drop a carcass there. Strip all ID, of course, and don’t do it too near your farm or around a blind corner. | |
