SouthEast Iowa
I grew some red and some black a couple of years ago. It was easy to grow and mine grew to about 10 or 12 ft tall. I put up some t posts with rope around the top to help keep it from getting blown over by the wind. I cut it when the seed had nice bright color and let it dry. I saved some seed, it was a pain in the behind removing it. I have an earthway garden planter and used that to plant it with, I think I used a popcorn plate. I have found the seed in packets locally.
