I'd also like to remind us all that the entertainment media has caricatured masculinity as either ultra-selfish and aggressive jerks, or passive bumbling idiots.  At the same time social media and iDevices have turned us into zoned-out app users.

So you fathers out there of impressionable kids and teenagers - thanks for modeling and teaching appropriate displays of masculinity in your interactions with the women in your life, through leadership and compassion and appropriate boundaries and discipline.
