Let me tell you they are right we took one to the boundary waters. It makes a lot of work conoeing a long distance. If you want to work twice as hard to go the same distance as a Kevlar canoe it is the conoe for you. They are a river canoe they turn quick but you have a hard time getting them to go straight.
