Central Texas | Is the trailer not listed on your policy? Ask your agent if you have UM/UIM coverage on your policy. If you don't have the coverage ask him why not and also ask who his errors and omissions coverage is with. If he didn't offer you um/uim when policy written, then could be grounds for a claim against his E&O coverage. If trailer not listed on policy, then that's another issue.
Was agent for 20 years and NEVER wrote a policy without um/uim coverage. Cost of um/uim coverage is quite minimal.
Suggest you have meeting with agent and get him to give you a complete review of your policy and what it does/does not cover.
