E.Central MN | Earlier in the season their offense was able to block so well that Brady had tons of time to wait for his receivers to get open. But as the competition got better in the playoffs you could see that the Pats were just better at actually executing plays. Their offensive lineman were better at opening up holes, their receivers were better at blocking down field, whoever coached that part of their game did a good job. I don't know if its the team chemistry, or the coaching strategy, or something else, but when they need to get something going late in games they seem to kick it up a gear. The Rams had plenty of chances, they just didn't get it done. Everyone knew that sooner or later Brady and company or any of the other top teams in the playoffs would probably put together at least one drive for a touchdown. | |
