Subject: RE: always remember

Red Paint - 1/18/2019 09:59 redoak, “They” are welcome to think it’s worth whatever they want. But if you KNOW what it’s worth... I’ve bought plenty of stuff at sales where I must have thought it was worth more than everyone else. Those purchase usually turn out the best via resale or savings versus a dealer. I’m not afraid to hit a high bid to start things off. Usually scares everyone else away. If it’s something I want, I have done enough research to know what it is worth. Comparing similar equipment at different sales, this usually saves money versus letting it creep up slowly as everyone goes a couple hundred more at a time. Regardless, either method saves a boatload versus private party or dealer pricing.

I like that. Very interesting strategy. We dont do auctions here anymore, but if it comes round again, and I've done the research, I'll try to remember this concept.
