I'm no doctor or vet, but I do recall hearing one of my veterinarians in the past say that rabies vaccine is not 100%. Probably better than a flu shot, but I believe like anything in that arena, there are chances that a vaccinated animal can still get rabies. Ask about that. But also ask about your exposure risks.
