Even if you used my numbers, even though they have the giant calculator right in front of them, you'd probably end up with more change back than needed.
She tended bar at night for 20 years. So she was pretty sharp for dollar amounts. Mom had to explain to one young girl at a café that she gave her back too much money after paying for the bill. The girl was adamant that it was correct. Mom told her to count it out again. The girl was a little embarrassed and thanked her for showing her and letting her know.

Born that is a bad example. If she gave them 34.50 for a 14.50 bill, she had the correct change to start with. |
