Didn't know the dad and brother very well. But Dave is humble and down-to-earth. I give him a lot of credit. Usually ran older stuff, never filed bankruptcy when he prolly could have to make things easier.
His wife helped him immensely, now has Alzheimer's, Dave lost a son not so long ago. Like mentioned some bad timing but he gave it the college try
