S.E. Sask. | The pictures I posted are all original as found on the calendar. I've found that most of the time when I take pictures of steep hillsides they come out looking like a gentle slope. So if the calendar shot looks steep, it must be even worse in reality.
My guess, maybe its a telephoto/zoom lens shot which can sometimes change how the background looks.
Have you ever used a zoom lens to shoot down a straight road with a few moderate rolls and dips? It comes out looking like a series of ski jumps. Zoom really accentuates the ups and downs.
