"A team of scientists led by The University of Queensland found that a common compound from herbicides could be useful in fighting hospital-acquired human fungal pathogenic infections." The common herbicide is chlorimuron ethyl, otherwise known as Classic Herbicide.
Fungal infections kill millions of people every year. Pretty neat that a common weed herbicide might also be a life saver. You will not see any of the environmental nazis talking about this.
