In early 50s Cokes were 5 cents each or $1.00 per case of 24 if you had a case of empty bottles or 1.25 without empties. Candy bars were a 5 cents. Coke went to 6 cents and my Dad stopped drinking them. Did not stay stopped long. Used to pick up empty bottles on side of road or wherever & sell at country store for 1c each
