The car dealership wants you to fall in live with a car, kind of a personal problem. The funeral home can put you on a guilt trip without even trying.
I would encourage people to prearrange services. We did it for our aunt when she went in the nursing home, ended up saving a considerable amount of money just on the inflation factor.
