Altoona, WI | I used to only wear Carhartt jeans. They lasted way longer than Levi or other name brand. Then they got where the belt loops would tear off. I could only get 3 months out of a pair at roughly $35. Switched to Duluth Firehose at $70 and can get a whole year out of those. That makes them half price compared to the poor quality Carhartt.
Duluth has an excellent satisfaction guarantee. I believe it is intended to replace items that tear out before they are supposed to. However, I have seen numerous posts on here by guys who WEAR them out and ask for new pairs of pants. Duluth usually hands them over. This sort of abuse of the satisfaction guarantee only serves to raise the prices since the rest of us subsidize those who only pay for one pair of pants and keep getting them replaced for free. | |
