Going around a blind curve.... kids in the car, possibly the lady was distracted by the kids in the car..... possibly thinking about family members in the hospital and not thinking about the driving.... that starts to add up...... I am curious.... how far away from that blind spot was the bus stop? Was it too close? Around here, I have seen bus drivers not allow kids to cross the highway until the bus driver could see that traffic has stopped, and it is safe to cross. I am assuming the bus driver did not see this vehicle coming, until it was too late? Is that a valid assumption? Which leads me to ask the question.... how far away from that blind spot was the bus stop? |
