NW, Pennsylvania | This is a scam. They will end up sending you a check for more than what the item is worth with someone else’s banking info on it. Then ask for you to wire them the difference. Cashing their check will throw flags with the bank, which will freeze your account, and then the money that was deposited will be withrawn. So you end up with a frozen account and possibly out hundreds of dollars. In other words, this is a scam. I’ve heard of this happening to someone. | |
