I was just checking out my sons spelling words for the week...
Though the teacher should have caught it two things should be pointed out. 1) it is likely a sheet from a purchased publisher which means the publisher needs to get it together..though again the teacher should catch it and 2) teachers do not have much time to spend on checking stuff like that in todays world of high expectations on teachers (this thread is proof, most jump on teachers expecting perfection, and thus turn to the gov to push them more which in turn puts more of a load on teachers that takes focus away from what they are there to do)...I know people may not believe it but the teachers time to get plans together and get things done has been eliminated by asking them to focus on IEPs, 504s and many other programs that are meant to improve education but instead pull the teachers attention away from what matters....teaching. |
