If you get a shipping container or a van trailer make sure they are clean and don't have any odor that will transfer to what you will be storing. I have two containers and they both have a odor that I wouldn't want my household things to pick up. Both of these containers appeared fairly clean when I got them. One the odor it has is much worse than the other. It sort of reminds of of the odor of some 2,4 D products. It has been pressure washed out, left open to air, had coffee spread on the floor and the floor painted. It also has vents in the roof and sides. They need vents they are out in the sun especially through the summer.
