Corn project here is alway 2 stalks. Fair is first of August. Wheat is shown as grain. Clean sample is best. Here all crop projects are judged with interview. Kid needs to know details about crop to get blue ribbon, regardless what display looks like. Best looking doesn’t necessarily mean top prize. I appreciate this approach.
