This question might fit better on stock talk but figured I try here first. Looking at maybe renting out some land for livestock pasture and wondering what a fair number is. Looks like most base the rent on a per head per day basis. Not a per acre like crop land. Just doing some research on it now and have seen figures ranging from $18 to $25 per head per day. This would be a long term deal with the renter putting up and maintaining  the fence.
