He was setup on a game trail with a portable blind, that led into some crp that was observed that he and a couple of other bucks were using to bed down at night.
Harvested using a crossbow, the fellow in the picture is/was a avid bow hunter, but he tore some stuff up in his shoulder and couldn’t hold the bow anymore, he says it was probably from all the years of milking. Anyhow he got a permit to use a cross bow, not sure of the model for he just bought a new one for this season.
Sounds like one shot at about 30 yards, clean kill. Somebody was asking about the score, and he didn’t have it as of last night, it was already at the taxidermist. | |
