I was sure real 'organic' producers grew their crops with no nitrogen or phosphorous or potassium either.


I'm pretty sure you can use "natural" fertilizer ie manure, local organic guy, buys/spreads poultry manure on his fields, purchases it for a local colony and I think he composts it first to eliminate weed seeds from the feed that was fed to them, funny thing the manure doesn't have to come from an organic source though as the birds are fed regular feed.
