Southern Mn | Nike base. Was govt owned until about 10 years ago. Real estate listing said soviet satellites still take pics of it. The launch facility was just north of what you see on 80. Not sue what the current owner is doing with it, but seems there is always someone doing something there. I was always told that no missiles were ever installed there. Was outdated before it was completed.
I assume you ended up cruising by it due to the detour on 86? | |
