Fruita CO | When I was at the JD dealer, we were cleaning up the shop for the Farming Frontiers show one year, & took the workbenches out to the wash pad. When they washed the bottom of one, the grey paint came off & that exact sign was there...the bench bottom shelf had been made out of it. The boss's wife wanted it, but we didn't want to destroy the bench, so they took a picture of it & had a sign co. make a copy. Don't know what ever happened to it.
The dealership had been in business since the late 30's, I guess at some point they needed a workbench worse than they needed an old sign... | |
