NE Iowa | I'm not in WI but am along the river just north of Dubuque in Iowa. There was a window I could have maybe made my 3rd crop around the 5th of August. Decided to let it grow a week and boy was that a big mistake. Been getting several inches a week for the last three week and rain in the forecast for next 10 days. I haven't had any rained on hay yet this year but still feel like I've lost a cutting because of rain. Had 2.5" last night and every waterway looked like a stream this morning. Need some sunshine before all of my pasture gets mucked up. | |
