LOL, LOL, LOL. Take a look at a precipitation map of Kansas. In our little corner of the world we get enough rain for 300 bpa corn yields. Most of it when we don't need it. I think our average annual rainfall is around 42". Sometimes 5 or 6 inches at a time. With 6-8" of top soil over a clay pan the has water percolation measured in the hundredths of an inch per hour, oh yeah we need tracks some years. Rarely for corn but bean harvest in the fall about one out of four or five years can get "interesting".
