SW Wisconsin | My MPP production is based on when my dad was milking 30-35 cows, jerseys on grass, so around 300k lbs/year. Now I'm milking 56, so around 510k. National average milk production per cow I'd be looking at just shy of 1.3 million lbs. Using those three different numbers I'd be looking at a payment of $180, 306, or 771 respectively. That's as much money as I lost from the tariffs from the beginning of July until the 3rd of July, the 7th of July, and the 17th of July, respectively. | |
