Farm in WC Iowa | We usually have a pen of knuckleheads. My old man will keep about 10 yearling,3 or 4 2-3 year old bulls and a senior around. The senior is in a pen of bred cows usually.
Last month when we were setting up the cows someone (me) left the walkthrough gate unchained and two pens got mixed up.
The 3 2-3 year old bulls were beating the crap out of the senior bull. It was pretty wild to see him getting tossed back and forth between the younger 3 bulls.
Talk about concerning, going to break up that fight! The old bull was happy we caught that before we left the barn.
So you are saying I need to come buy a donkey from your son to help keep the knuckleheads in line?
But your calves, red looks like he may be just under or at 300# the big black one could be 375ish.
How old are they?
@ 6 months they should be close to 400# I would think. | |
