Trying to learn the system...what do you guys, that feed and finish cattle, currently get for a 1200 lb steer? Are you paid by the pound? How does that exactly work? Are you paid after the animal has been butchered and the meat graded? I have no experience in this end of the chain and am curious? Thanks for the knowledge everyone!
