If there is a product made specifically for sheep I’d go that way. You might also look into USA made plastic slats that some of the new nurseries are using. Perhaps they would be similar enough to work.
I remember the story of the place in nw Iowa that tried tenderfoot flooring for sheep...I was told it plugged with wool and had to be cleaned by hand.
Just a curious question how are you going to move the manure under the floor?
