We'd do it to our late calving cows to move them back up but would use the 7 day cidr program then a PG shot when pulled. This was to breed naturally so they have around a week after the cidr to cycle didn't matter since bulls were doing the heat detecting and worst case as long as they bred in the following cycle they were still ahead of the game. Would be a PITA if we were AI'ing.

ABS lists a cidr with the 5 day co sync and a lot of timed shots after removal. Looks like it would work great in a dairy barn.
