Why the horns, I hate missing with them and if they get past the end of the ears they won't buy them around here anyway.
I just avoid the mess. Makes them bring less around here as feeders.
I like them baldies.
Lots of guys like horned Hereford bulls. Bulls seem to fight less with horns, breed the horns off, breed the a** off, horned bulls get out and breed cows and cover more country than a polled bull, horned bulls are tighter sheathed and less likely to snag their sheath on soapweed and yucca plants and not want to extend their penis for breeding. All reasons I have heard over the years. |
