Subject: Corn syrup on silage

We've been chopping corn silage this week. Usually, we cover the bunker with plastic and tires but the raccoons destroy it to the point that it almost isn't worth the effort. I wanted to try covering the pile with distillers syrup but my broker can't find a trucker willing to spray it on. Does anyone know of a syrup hauler that will do this in south central Iowa? I'm going to call my broker today and offer to do the work if the trucker will tell me what to do, but I'm not too optimistic. It can't be much worse than throwing tires. Thanks.
