Cen. Pa. | Corn chopping time is fast approaching. Our nutritionist says there's a lot of talk many Dairy Farmers-are are considering not chopping corn.. went to a picnic with the milk Co-op the other day lot of people were asking the administrative people that were there if they're seeing any turn around and they really didn't give any good news... I'm starting to think the same thing why keep chopping these forages especially corn . I'm starting to wonder if there's any hope for dairying in the east, or anywhere for that matter.. be ashamed to give the cows away and I guess they're selling rather poorly.. if we chop a year supply of corn will probably milk another year | |
