Going to have to hook up to rural water on a 40 that is across road. Want to bore and hook to meter that is already set on our side. There is already a meter there but the minimum gets expensive for the times when not using. Thinking of filling hole where connection is made with sand so it would be easier to dig up and connect to meter if place is ever sold off. Any reason not to?
