Wabash county,Il | The auctioneer who works the sale barn that I use for my cows has a biweekly hay sale at his hoe town and this past year the sale barn has been offering to sale hay if brought in. I don't know the volume on his hay sales but in both instances everything is by the bale and almost never doe any of the sellers have weights for what they bring.
He has called me a couple times about some good quality stuff to see if interested. I've asked what do they weigh, they don't know, in fact I'm the only one that ever asks.
Can't believe people don't realize you should buy hay by the ton or a known weight per bale not just it's a big square/round. | |
