Subject: feed bunk slime and bunk liners

Earlville, NY
Two parter; first, where are some places to look for plastic liners for feed bunks? FarmTek has them, any place else anyone has used? The concrete bunk lines for our dairy heifers are very old and pitted.
Second, our feed lines in the dairy are also pretty slimy in this hot humid summer. The concrete isn't pitted, but the feed is stuck enough you cant scrape it off, even with a hand scraper. Any ideas for getting it off besides pressure washing? I think if it sat in the open air for a few days it would dry up enough to scrape off, but obviously can't do that with the barn full of cows. Though about limestone to suck up moisture, but that would probably make it worse. Thanks for any thoughts
PS We built a barn with tile lining in feed lines, wish we had done that with the first barn. Redoing it is possible, but pretty expensive and time consuming; sawing out sections at a time and re pouring concrete and set the tiles in it. Cows are locked away from big chunks of the bunk for a few days at a time.
